Esca with Rooms

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and great choices.

The rooms were hot but the weather has been exceptionally hot.

The location in the centre of Ross-on-Wye was excellent for the town's amenities - which were right on the door step. Nearby on street parking was not too far away. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was tasty.

Can't be helped but I didn't like heaving the suitcase up a lot of steps.

Location was very central, no frills accommodation which was reflected in the price. Bed was large and very comfortable. On a main road but they provided earplugs.

Although there was no parking on site the car park was just a few minutes walk and only £2.80 per 24hrs. Couple of minor issues which could have been sorted easily like the curtains hanging off the rail. No hairdryer in the room but I’m sure if I’d have asked they would have lent me one

The location was great and the bed was very comfortable.

There was a dirty towel hung up in the clothes cupboard, draped over a coat hanger . We assume it was from the previous guests. The glasses were dirty too. There was also a smell in the room possibly from dogs but may even have been from the dirty towel. The ariel lead was dirty and came down across the kettle and mugs. We found the property information leaflet in the drawer and it was very well used. The wall where a headboard would usually be and the doors near the handles were quite grubby. We did not find any WiFi information. There was loud music playing when we arrived into the evening and we could hear music from somewhere in the property from 6am.
