We arrived in early May. He met us at the airport, arranged a taxi for my husband because we had so much luggage with us, including our three cats. We stayed for 3 weeks while we looked for a place in Vlore. On one of our days going to the center of Tirana, he gave us a ride. When we rented a car, he made sure we had a place to park. The apartment is nice and I loved the Don Bosko neighborhood. There's a couple of 24 hour food places that has good food. We were still on US time and wandered out at 2am to grab something to eat. If we had decided to live in Tirana instead, we would have stayed in this neighborhood.
Most of Albania is on a cash basis, but he has a credit card machine for payment. If you aren't wanting to stay in the Don Bosko area, but wanting to pay with CC, give him a call, because he does have other properties around the city. I say this because on the FB groups, I keep seeing people complain about the lack of CC option to pay when they arrive at other locations.
Overall, he treated us well, and was able to get the clothing thing cleared up. Also, responsive to phone calls and texts.
It took a couple days to get our clothes picked up to be washed.
The wifi wasn't great. You can do basic scrolling on your phone or laptop, but not much more.
Sometimes the power goes out, but this might be more of an Albania thing.

Personale gentile e cortese, e prezzo conveniente ma solo questo non basta.
Peccato per la pulizia dei locali che lasciava alquanto a desiderare con finestre sporche, porte delle stanze che non si chiudevano bene. Anche l’ingresso della struttura sembra ricavato, in quanto si entra da un corridoio accanto ad un negozio di fiori e nel pianerottolo con cui si condivida l’ingresso c’erano sparse almeno 5 paia di scarpe.
