About this house rental
**INCLUDES LINEN AND BATH TOWEL HIRE, AND STANDARD DEPARTURE CLEANING**
**This property is self-catering, however an initial supply of coffee, hand wash, toilet paper, firewood (in winter) and basic cleaning products is provided.**
**As of July 2026, we advise that there is residential construction taking place on private land in close vicinity to Seaview Retreat. To the best of our knowledge, all works are being completed on weekdays during the hours of approx. 7am – 5pm. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for additional information on ‘quiet enjoyment’**
Downstairs:
The cosy living area is complimented with coastal hues and is bursting with natural light, providing a space to soak in the gorgeous views. Also offers a TV and adjacent kitchenette with a microwave, gas stovetop and fridge/freezer for the convenience of those staying on the lower level.
Two Guest bedrooms offer a queen bed and BIR.
Kids bedroom offers 2 x single beds and a BIR.
Downstairs bathroom includes shower, with a separate powder room across the hallway with w/c and sink.
Laundry provides washing machine, dryer, ironing facilities, and sink.
Brilliant and expansive lower-level outdoor entertaining space is the perfect spot to enjoy a local wine with a view, or for the kids to play on the fully fenced spacious lawn and in-ground trampoline, offering plenty of space for the whole family.
The kids will absolutely love the nature playground on the property; with a wooden ship and swing chair to play on, their imagination will run wild.
Upstairs:
The spacious living zone invites relaxation and exudes airy freedom with soaring raked ceilings and expansive windows for gazing out at the remarkable contrast of green bushland and beyond to the turquoise ocean. Also offers a smart TV and a toasty wood fireplace for the cooler months
Enjoy the magnificent ocean views whilst cooking up a storm in the open plan kitchen and dining area. Featuring plentiful bench space, easy-care tiled flooring throughout, and a coffee machine, gas stove top, dual electric ovens and dishwasher, Seaview Retreat has all the appliances you need in your home away from home. Reverse cycle aircon and ceiling fans are perfectly appointed in this area for climate control

The house and our stay was beautiful and unforgettable. The only negative is that the joy of these special weekends away in such a magnificent environment is such that expecting people (especially large families in these larger homes) to pack, tidy and vacate by 10am on what should be a relaxing holiday Sunday morning is such a shame. Since check is 3pm, I can't see why 11am couldnt be accommodated. Apart from that we loved everything, and watching pods of whales playing and breaching from the verandah was an unexpected thrill!

The house is spacious, but is a bit cold and sterile as in not lived in. There were no provisions whatsoever. No salt and pepper, no left over non-perishables from the last guests - no olive oil, no sauces, no sugar for coffee, nothing. Having stayed at many VRBO's, its not that we expected a fully stocked cupboard for us to be able to help ourselves to, but rather, we normally encounter non-perishables provided by the owner or left fro the previous guests. We would have been happy to leave behind the chili oil, soy sauce, sugar, olive oil, beers, etc that we purchased, but the instructions were to dispose of it all, and so we complied. The home had a millipede infestation that were on both floors, however in this climate/environment, I think it is common as we have encountered them elsewhere. In all, it was a pleasant stay, just didn't feel very homey.
