My husband and I spent ten nights here.It's a cosy, one bedroom villa.The garden and the place around is peaceful. You will often find peacocks, squirrels, cats and others wandering (more often depending on how you treat them). The owners were very quick to respond and help with anythingwe needed.This was a new venture for them and they were also learning, but they were eager to help make our stay comfortable. You can cook your own meals as there is a fully furnished kitchen. Everything is electric in the house, including the stove. We had some power issues, but the owners mentioned they are getting a generator installed so that's fixed now. They were kind enough to surprise us with a home cooked, Srilankan breakfast on New Years' and a lovely parting gift that we'll cherish always. The location is a little inside but it didn't bother us since we had our own mode of transport. Tuk Tuks and bikes are easily available. You can ask the owners for these contacts as well. We even adopted a stray dog and named him Malli (little brother in Sunghali). All in all, a great option for those who prefer a private, cosy, warm and close to nature, yet comfortable space. A big thank you to the owners again.
Just that there was power outage in between, not the owner's fault and they have installed a generator now.

Facilities were very good. In the kitchen there is every item/gadget you could need, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender etc.
The location of the villa was optimal for us to reach anywhere in a reasonably short time

I spent 15 unforgettable days at this incredible villa, and it’s hard to put my experience into words! I want to especially thank the hosts—they are unbelievably kind, caring, and warm-hearted people, unlike anyone I’ve ever met before. The villa’s hostess became a true example of generosity and attentiveness: she was always available, instantly helped resolve any questions, and created an atmosphere as if I were staying with close friends.
The villa exceeded all expectations! It has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay: modern appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, cozy furniture, and even the little things you sometimes forget about. You can literally just arrive with your suitcase and enjoy your vacation without worrying about a thing. The territory left me in awe—it’s beautifully maintained, picturesque, with stunning views of nature. The house, with its spacious terrace, became my favorite spot: I drank coffee there in the mornings, admired sunsets, and felt like I was in a fairy tale.
But what touched me the most was the unexpected and heartfelt gesture from the hosts. On the day of my departure, they gifted me a mug with my photo against the backdrop of the villa. It was so unexpected and sincere that it brought tears to my eyes! I’ve never encountered such thoughtfulness and warmth, even in luxury hotels.
I left feeling like I’d left a piece of my heart in this place. I’ll cherish every memory of my time here with immense warmth and gratitude. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway that combines comfort with a homely, welcoming atmosphere—this villa is the definitive choice! You won’t regret it for a second, and the memories will stay with you forever. Thank you for the magic! 💛
