Nice view but dry, wallabies. Peaceful

Found hard to get in with code.
Found hard to understand symbols on Air-conditioning in main room.

Glenn and Danielle have created a wonderful rural escape from daily life at Wallawa at Hilltop.
The 2brm house has all the amenities one would want for a relaxing, self contained week long stay... every thing from a BBQ to filtered water. It is pet friendly, and even has covered parking with EV charging for anyone wondering where they can charge their EV.
But the jewel of this getaway haven has to be the large deck with views of the Aussie bush. You can just lean back on the couch or arm chairs on the deck, with a cool drink in summer, or a warm tea/coffee during winter and watch the days go by. Wallabies can be seen hopping around the bush during dawn or dusk. It's a wonderful way to feel connected with nature.
The hiking/biking track provides additional activities right at your doorstep. And the fire pit makes for a lovely evening away from the TV. Spending an evening stargazing at the milky way and looking out for shooting stars was a highlight of our recent visit.

Just bring enough food to last your stay. A drive to Kingaroy is ~25min.
Safety tip: if you do want to use the hiking/mountain biking track alone and the rest of your group is back at house, consider bringing a pair of long range walkie talkies as you won't have mobile reception.

The property was beautifully fitted out with care, providing everything we needed and more for a wonderful stay.
There was absolutely nothing not to like. My only question regarding the beautiful presentation was the fact that after dark you could not see out of the french doors but from the outside you could see everything very clearly inside which my daughter found a bit unsettling.

A relaxing home with peaceful and glorious views. The hosts obviously take great pride in the property. Great deck, spacious well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and lounge. The fire pit was a hit!
