Wederom een fantastisch gastvrije en vriendelijke staff. Met lekker eten en drinken.
Zijn zeer behulpzaam bij t organiseren van activiteiten. Wat te denken van de fantastische wandeling naar de 3 sipi falls, inclusief abseilen, of een interessante koffietour. In ons geval was Joshua onze gids.
De hutjes zijn klein. Het bed is gewoon goed. Als je een luxe badkamer verwacht valt dit tegen. ER is een prima toilet. Douchen/wassen deden we vanuit een straaltje water of een met water gevulde jerrycan. De sfeer en gastvrijheid maken dit echter ruimschoots goed.

Lieve en hartelijke ontvangst met een versgeperste lemon juice. Steeds bereid je te helpen met verdere info. Ik deed er een tour naar Sipi falls, de coffee tour en community walk. Mooi verzorgde en sfeervolle bungalows. Het kampvuur 's avonds was topper. De gastvrouw was in haar element.Was voor mij de uitvalsbasis voor een 3-daagse trekking naar Wagagai peak maar zou ik niet meer combineren. Te veraf van de start van de trekking.

The whole experience. Friendly staff, very comfortable bed. A knowledgeable and likeable guide (joshua) and being in a welcoming neighbourhood.

The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a very pleasant atmosphere and architecture with a cool, local feel. Alex, the main host, is an excellent conversationalist and seems genuinely concerned with the happiness of his guests. While we didn't have any of the meals personally, I have no doubt they are excellent quality. Truthfully, if you don't mind paying their prices for meals and guided trips, I really do think you'll have a great time there. They offer great services for travelers looking for an all-inclusive experience, but if you're simply looking for a room I would check out a few of the alternatives. They do have a very sweet dog, though!
Our main issue with our stay was that we felt like the low room price was just a lure to get travelers out to the property, where they can be pressured into meal and trip options that do not match the room price. We had hoped to see the falls without a guide, eat meals outside off of the property (their dinner price is one of the highest I've seen anywhere in Uganda) and potentially even get some helpful advice on how and where to do these things. That simply didn't feel possible once we arrived.
As we got off of the matatu to head to the property, a man began walking with us (though we assured him we didn't need his offer of security or help finding the way) and clearly expected a tip from the hotel once we arrived. Then Joshua, the guide who was on site that afternoon (not Alex, who didn't arrive until the next day), spent around fifteen minutes convincing us that it was dangerous/impossible to do the waterfall hike without a guide. As he was also the one checking us into the hotel, we didn't feel comfortable leaving for a hike without using his services. There was also an obvious sense of dissapointment from Precious when we told her and Joshua that we wouldn't be needing meals (we hadn't seen the prices beforehand). Naturally, the next day, we were able to confirm with another traveler (what the internet had already informed us) that it is indeed quite possible to pay a few thousand shillings to local property owners and walk to each of the waterfalls without a guide.
