The property's location was excellent.
The large dining room table was fabulous, as it meant we could all eat together.
The spare keys were handy, as they gave us independence.
The downstairs space for coats and boots was ideal, as we could leave everything there and not drag shoes upstairs. Plenty of glasses, plates and cutlery were provided.
Plenty of hot water for all of us to shower and clean dishes.
The upper floor was not as we had anticipated. The stairs to the second floor were incredibly steep and not suitable for elderly people. The room layout on this level was also misleading: the room with the sofa-bed had no privacy as it is connected to the bedroom , rendering it onl;y suitable for a family.
There were no dishwasher tablets provided, and only one dish towel – not really sufficient for a group of 13 people.
It would have been nice to have some basic condiments in the kitchen, but I understand that this may be difficult.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the town centre, which made it really convenient. The house itself was amazing and worked perfectly for our group of 11. There was plenty of space for everyone, with a huge lounge and a great dining area complete with a pool table.
The enclosed garden was really handy, especially for a larger group, and the BBQ facilities were spot on. There were also plenty of bathrooms, so we never felt like we were all on top of each other. Overall, it was a fantastic property for a big group and we really enjoyed our stay.

The gables was fantastic for a large reunion! The beds were really comfy, great bathrooms, the location perfect and the house had everything we needed. Fantastic.
