Our stay in Bellagio was a bit of a mixed experience, but the apartment itself was fantastic! It was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and had gorgeous views. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and even a basement, there was plenty of room to spread out. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome touches of pasta and a bottle of champagne.
There were, however, several things future guests should know. When we shortened our stay by one night, the price of the remaining two nights increased, which was frustrating. We had to work through the issue and were ultimately able to get some of the difference refunded. The cancellation policy was also much stricter than other European accommodations we've booked, becoming nonrefundable quite early.
Unfortunately, we also had rain for most of our stay. We had asked if they would consider a refund when the forecast showed a 100% chance of rain, but they were unable to accommodate that request. Of course, the weather isn't anyone's fault, but it definitely affected our experience of Bellagio.
We also hadn't realized that Bellagio is farther from Como than we anticipated, both in time and transportation cost. The location was good, but leaving with heavy luggage was challenging. We had to drag our suitcases down a zillion stone stairs to catch the ferry! On our final morning, my husband also had to walk about 10 minutes to return the keys, which was inconvenient when we were rushing to catch our ferry.
Overall, we have mixed feelings. The apartment itself was wonderful, spacious, comfortable, and had truly gorgeous views. Future guests should just be sure to understand the cancellation policy, transportation logistics, and stairs if traveling with heavy luggage. Despite the challenges, we were grateful to have such a beautiful place to stay in Bellagio.

I personally like a tv in my bedroom but I would still go back.

The property was located very centrally, in the heart of Bellagio, near the restaurants, night life, ferry port and had a very lovely view of Lake Como. The facilities were neat, well kept and comfortable. Our hosts Geo and Agata were warm, gracious and welcoming and briefed us well on the lovely sights to see in Bellagio and around Lake Como. We enjoyed meeting our hosts and loved our time at Casa Pini and Bellagio. We would love to come again for a longer stay!

The hosts of Casa Pini have done an amazing job of furnishing this home. It is both beautiful and comfortable with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the view of Lake Como. We very much enjoyed getting to know the host and we appreciate all of the ways that she helped to make us feel comfortable, as well as her recommendations for our time in Bellagio which were excellent.The location could not be better. We highly recommend Casa Pini and we would stay there again.
