Property was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. There is an excellent bus service into the centre from virtually outside the door.
Just to advise for others, the attic room is not self contained, there is a ladder from one of the bedrooms going up to the attic room. Also we had an issue adjusting the thermostat on the shower (it was boiling or boiling) but to be fair we alerted the owner who said they would look into it asap. Also the stairs are very steep up to the bedrooms so may not be suitable for all. The parking is on a side street nearby as property is on a main road.

Easy access to town; great communication from host; comfy beds
Found a broken chair on arrival. Hadn’t been made clear that 4th bedroom was up a precarious ladder so no appropriate for our group so we ‘lost’ use of a bed.
Lots of foodstuffs in properly and no idea how long it had been there! Obviously didn’t touch!

The location was in a sketchy part of town, and the property had some age on it

Genuinely difficult to say.
We were greeted with a sold sign in the garden so our expectations were set fairly low from the start.
Too much to list:
- house was dirty and mouldy in places
- garden was a mess
- lots of broken things
