No breakfast was available

Not as advertised - misleading listing The property was advertised as a 2-bedroom apartment with a living area, shared kitchen and bathroom, and a beautiful sea view. What we received was nothing like this. There was only ONE bedroom. The "second bedroom" was actually the living area/kitchen with 2 standard beds in it - not a sofa bed. We travelled as 2 couples, which meant to use the bathroom during the night we had to walk directly past our friends while they slept. Zero privacy. There was no sea view at all. The view was of abandoned, overgrown gardens with litter including used needles. Other issues: • All windows were broken/didn't close properly and filthy • None of the TVs worked • Towels were threadbare, tiny and inadequate • Shower pressure was extremely poor The host only sent a short video of the actual room when we were a short distance away, when it was too late to change. This is not what we booked or paid for. I would not recommend.

Rooms very basic but clean Although the couple looking after the hotel were friendly & helpful The Charlton no longer looks on the outside as advertised on your site Next door but one looks like a building site

Very basic Electric heaters not very efficient at heating room Thin duvets Bathroom shower clean & worked well No lamps for bigger room But on request one was provided Parking provided but expensive & had to park in hotel being refurbed Reception of Charlton run down & shabby
