"Loretta's place" is a welcoming private apartment recently renovated, located in the seaside district of Ostia Lido. The apartment accommodates 4 people and is suitable for both long and short stays.The house is on the 4th floor and it's very sunny, functional and quiet, equipped with every comfort with 2 bedrooms for 4 people, living room, bathroom with shower, a fully equiped kitchen with gas cooker, oven, fridge and microwave. The house is in an ideal location: 7 km from the airport of Fiumicino, just 300 meters from the sea and it is well connected to Rome by train from Lido Centro station or from Lido Nord station. The new FAIR OF ROME, venue of exhibitions and conferences (NUOVA FIERA DI ROMA) is just 20 minutes from the apartment. The beautiful Palazzetto PalaPellicone (Pala FIJLKAM) created specifically for meetings and fighting events, is located 5 minutes by car from the apartment. On demand guest have at their disposal a baby cot (up to 2/3 years)a high chair and a baby stroller. Large condominium garden . Rates are inclusive of consumption. FREE UNLIMITED WIFI. Check in from 14:00 to 21:30 - Check out within 10:00am. Loretta was amazingly helpful and met us from the airport bus to Ostia. We loved the flat, it was in a quiet neighbourhood with a supermarket across the road, the beach nearby and the train station to Rome and Ostia a 15 minute walk away. The flat was well equiped and it was just what we needed.

Bright and welcoming apartment with all the amenities of home. Great location within a short walk of the beach, grocery stores, and top notch restaurants. Loretta, our host, was a pleasure to deal with. She's warm, friendly, and caring. Our only regret is our stay was too short. Definitely plan on returning soon!!

This apartment would be perfect for 2 adults plus 2 children. A third adult might fit on the couch. The location is very good, with a major grocery store across the street, and a short walk to the beach. A couple of coffee shops and a new best-value Italian restaurant are also one block away. The apartment is quiet and well furnished; many house plants are on display. The best part of this listing is the host, who owns the property and is a delight to deal with.

This place is clean and comfortable and very convenient to the FCO airport. A grocery store right across the street. A good place to rest up after a long flight. Very friendly people.

Comfortable Apartment
We had a very short, one night stay at Loretta‘s apartment after flying in from Canada. Loretta was extremely patient and kind dealing with us, and our delayed arrival. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Parking on the street was easy. It is very close to a supermarket. We walked to a nearby bustling Trattoria for a late dinner.
We had a very pleasant stay.

Great location
The apartment was in a great location. It was everything that we expected. Very close to the beach and an easy drive to the airport. Having a full kitchen was wonderful. There was a grocery store right across the street from the apartment. Loretta also had a basket of fruit for us a couple bottles of water as well as some pastries. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Well kept 2 bedroom apartment with a supermarket opposite and a bus stop around the corner.
The apartment is well equipped and comfortable with added touches by Loretta of fresh fruit and flowers. Loretta was a great host explaining how to use everything and how to get about locally and I to Rome's centre.If not driving a weekly all in bus train and metro ticket is well worth the 24 euros. We had a great time exploring.

Beautiful apartment close to the water
Loretta was fantastic. She organized a taxi to the apartment and to the airport for us which was greatly appreciated (in Italy you call for taxis, you don't wave them down). The apartment was organized and very clean. There's no air conditioning but the ceiling fan and cool breeze was perfect. There's 2 balconies and several windows that keeps it cool. There's an elevator that takes you to the apartment which is on the 4th floor which is nice when you have luggage. The apartment is about a 10 min walk from the water. The beach is sandy and nice. There's some restaurants and shops. The area is not very touristy which depending on what you're looking for can be nice. The area is not super nice but not unsafe or scary either. I would recommend staying here if you're looking to stay in Ostia. Loretta was also great and drove us to a restaurant for lunch. She's very helpful if you have any questions. She had some toiletries in the bathroom, a fruit bowl, and sunblock if you need it.

Loretta was an excellent help, who spoke better english than me! The place had a nice view of the street, very warm area, down the street from the beach. Head to the La Bahia Beach area down the street from the immediate access, it is the nicest part of the beach and it's free access. 15 minute walk to the train station, to get into the coliseum it takes about 40 minutes, very inexpensive train tickets. Lovely apartment, just big enough for three or four comfortably with a nice balcony. Apartment complete with full kitchen, and dishwasher and clothes washer. Thanks Loretta!

Charming , we felt very much at home.
The owner Loretta is an absolute darling. She collected us from the airport and returned us . She explains about the area and even booked us a table at a restaurant that she recommended. True to her words it was delightful. Nothing is too much trouble . She is full of enthusiasm which is reflected in the apartment . 5 minutes walk from the beach, near the shops, yet quiet and peaceful. We felt like one of the locals and the apartment felt safe and like home. We will re visit for sure. Andrew and Kathryn Puddu

Rome Outskirts
This tidy and cozy apartment was a comfortable place for our family of four during New Year’s, 2016/17. But most impressive was the owner, Loretta, who was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to print off our airline tickets and drive them back to us . She also volunteered to drive us to the bus station early in the morning. She definitely went over and beyond the call of duty, and I would stay at her place again because of her friendliness.

Nice apartment and even nicer owner!
Greeted pleasantly by Loretta upon arrival. Being on the 4th floor we were pleasantly surprised it had an elevator. The apartment was clean and comfortable and even supplied with fresh fruit, bottled water and sweet's. Loretta went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location seems to have everything close to hand from shops to restaurants.

Clean,spacious, nicely-furnished
The property was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. It was ideally located being close to beach, shops and transport. We were able to balance our family holiday with sightseeing in Rome to relaxing on the beach. It was easy to get to Rome using the buses and metro and took about 25 minutes. The local trattoria was family - run and served good traditional food in a welcoming atmosphere. I thought the property was good value for money and although it was hot at night the owner had provided fans in every room. We often took a stroll along the promenade at night - it was nice to see so many families out and about enjoying the cool evening breeze. The owner, Loretta was charming, helpful and accommodating. She immediately made us feel welcome and gave us plenty of advice as to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would recommend this property to friends and we wish Loretta well and every success!

Our stay in Ostia
Our stay in Ostia was brilliant. Loretta gave us a very warm welcome to the apartment on our first evening, even baking us a cake! The apartment was very clean and we'll appointed, and although the kitchen is very small, we managed perfectly well. It is within 5 minutes walk to a lovely pizzeria and a trattoria. There is a supermarket over the road and other local shops within a 10 minute walk, including a pharmacy. The seafront is about 10 minutes walk away. The transport links into Rome is brilliant, and integrated so all buses, metros , trams and the train into Ostia available on the same ticket. you can get tickets for 100 minutes, 1 day, 3 days and 7 days. It is a level walk to the local train station and it takes you about 20 minutes to get onto the outskirts of Rome, with a transfer onto the metro, and then 4 stops to the main termini station. We visited the Vatican City, Sistine chapel , Pantheon, colosseum, roman forum, to name but a few. The omnia card that we purchased before our trip, enabled us to also get a hop on and hop off bus in Rome, that was very good with a commentary. The omnia card also included visits to St. Peter's basilica, Vatican museum and the Sistine chapel and the castle st angels with the wonderful view from the top terrace. It also included two more visits of your choice, we did the colosseum and the Rome forum , and 3 days of travel on the integrated travel system. Back to the apartment, we were glad that we decided to stay in Ostia to get away from the hustle and bustle of Rome! Loretta was in contact with us throughout the week to make sure that we were okay, and we felt that nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay in the apartment again if we were to visit Rome again. Thank you very much Loretta for your wonderful hospitality .

pleasant and functional appartment
Greeted by Loretta even though our flight was delayed making it quite late. The appartment was clean and comfortable and supplied with fresh fruit and bottled water. Good location outside of the city with a fantastic owner
Anyone should feel confident dealing with Loretta as communications was very quick and she is just a great person. Amazingly helpful with everything from ideas for things to do to helping out transportation and even contacted us the second day to ensure that everything was OK with the apartment. She even noticed that my wife and youngest had birthdays during our stay and got them presents.
We like staying outside of the large cities and taking public transportation and for us the train into Rome was very convenient and got us to every where we wanted to be. Even with a two and five year old we walked to the train station every morning. The grocery store across the street was super convenient as well for stocking up on fruits and what not.
I would definitely rent from Loretta again.
