Location was spot on. We went for a walk to Richmond it was lovely.
No hot water.
Couldn’t use big bath or get a comfortable shower.
Couldn’t wash pots in sink either.

Very quirky and compact, good WiFi and jacuzzi bath , very nice building
Access to the bed was a challenge definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, any little bits on the floor end up on your feet and end up in the bed as we found out the following day

We enjoyed the location, and the rustic quirkiness of the suite. Very calm and peaceful environment and not too far away from Richmond, which was the closest place for shops, bars, restaurants etc.
There wasn’t much on the actual site, even though the guide map said it had an onsite shop and gardens with a waterfall and children’s play area, all of which were none existent. And our suite was rather dusty, and not cleaned as well as expected, giving that it’s a very old stable but there was evidence of dust and cobwebs in very easy to reach places and surfaces. There was also a pair of someone’s underpants left in the actual bathroom which my wife noticed all be it with the very poor lighting throughout the suite too. Also the failure to half fill the bath tub with hot water was disappointing, and we had to use the kettle numerous times to get it to feel warmer. Perhaps it might be better to install a smaller more convenient bathtub, perhaps a copper style one which they advertise in a different suite.
