The property owner and staff were very friendly. Helpful in getting us settle in and giving tips of the places to eat. Simple family run business but sufficient for a 2 night stay (which is more than enough). They had just really started out on getting the place comfortable with the garden and all. Breakfast spread could include bread (which is more continental). Then again, tourists are mostly Thai, so staple is rice or noodles with vegetables and eggs - typical Chinese (Yunnan) breakfasts. Nothing much to do around the village, chill and relax and drink coffee and walk around the lake.
The town could have been more well planned with more selection of food. Road was dusty and surrounding could have been cleaner.

Location is good although had issue with Google map not indicating the exact address. Staff from another hotel helped me find the actual site. Lookout for its small signage at top of a shop (selling Chinese costumes) along the main road.
Room size is bigger than usual.
Car parking area is available but outsiders parked there too.
Breakfast were the same items every morning.
