Everything was wonderful and very comfortable. The bedrooms had balconies with breathtaking views of the mountains and the river. We especially loved the large open-plan area, combining the dining room, sitting area and billiard table. It allowed everyone to stay together in one space and spend more quality time with each other.
The villa also had a beautiful, spacious and very private outdoor area, with a lovely swimming pool, several different relaxing areas, a fruit orchard and a private jetty, which was perfect for swimming in the river. The whole property was thoughtfully designed to make the stay both relaxing and enjoyable.
For complete comfort, there were a few things that could be improved. All five bedrooms have double beds, which can be inconvenient when travelling as a large family or group with teenage children. It would be very helpful to have the option of one or two rooms with twin beds for siblings.
The kitchen is quite well equipped overall, but the frying pans are very old and the knives are extremely blunt, so some basic kitchen equipment could use an upgrade.
Finally, although this is not directly related to the villa itself, it is worth mentioning as it affects the overall experience: the road leading to the villa, especially the last couple of kilometres, is quite difficult and potentially dangerous. It is a very narrow mountain road with many sharp bends, often without guardrails, and it can be challenging to pass oncoming vehicles. Guests should be aware of this, especially when arriving for the first time.

I absolutely loved the location and the facilities. The place was beautiful, and the amenities were outstanding. It offered everything you could ask for and even more. My favorite part was the heated pool, as well as the bar, which had everything needed for a wonderful time with friends or family. I would definitely recommend it!

Magnifique petit havre de paix. Parfait pour un séjour en famille. Villa très propre. Accueil impeccable.
Assez loin de tout si vous souhaitez bouger un peu dans le nord du Portugal, matelas vraiment très ferme et inconfortable et un répéteur wifi pour les chambres serait un bon plus mais nous sommes tout de meme très satisfaits.

La piscine, la cuisine extérieure, la vue sur le lac, le billard
Le bruit des scooters des mers et autres ski nautique tout l’après midi juste devant la maison, la plage n’est pas privé du tout comme le dit l’annonce et elle est souvent occupée par des touristes venus en bateau éventuellement avec de la musique qu’ils peuvent mettre très fort
