Great room, clearly new, very clean. Mosquito nets provided and some water and a kettle in the room.
Limited plug sockets, there was a central extension in between the beds, but nothing for each bed.

The hospitality from Mahesh and his family was wonderful—they are so sweet and always available if you need anything. The home-cooked food prepared by the lady of the house was some of the best local food I’ve had. It’s a very peaceful location, and I even met some great travelers here to explore Kandy with.
Just a heads-up for future guests: Google Maps can be a bit misleading for the location. Instead of an expensive tuk-tuk, just take a direct bus from Kandy to Ampitiya! Also, keep in mind the dorm is located two floors up, which might be a bit of a climb with heavy bags.

Hosts are very friendly! Included breakfast was delicious and I recommend you get your other meals from them. I had the grilled fish and I feel like I robbed them for what was paid for a whole fish.
The beds were comfortable, lockers provide security for valuables and a kettle let's you make your own coffee or tea, free parking for my scooter was a bonus and third stay was great value.
The mosquito net was a bit of a hassle on the top bunk to get into, out of and their height was a little low. The bottom bunks don't have this issue.
