Camilla was a lovely host, the room was clean and pleasant, and the house is located perfectly in a quiet street just across from a beautiful church

Fantastic location, great breakfast delivered to our door, friendly owners with great communication. Comfy big bed. It was the perfect place tp explore Beaune.
It wasn't a big deal for us but there is no way to lock the bedroom door from the outside. Once you're in you have a lock but when you go out for the day you cannot lock your bedroom. It's a small hotel in a safe place but for some people this might be a problem.

Camilla is absolutely delightful. The room was very comfortable ……. Good size and perfectly clean. Breakfast in the open courtyard was very good. The location is perfect for exploring the city.
Hmmm …….. After all of the good points, this isn’t easy to to say, but when you walk into a hotel, you really shouldn’t be walking into a building site. The ground floor has yet to be renovated and is full of combustible building materials, with no protection to the escape staircase.
Also, I can’t understand why the new doors to the guest rooms have not been provided with locks capable of securing the doors from the outside. This could be an issue for some guests if they are travelling with valuables.
Once these issues are resolved it will be a lovely hotel, but until that time, despite the good points about the hotel, I cannot recommend it … sorry.
