L’accueil très chaleureux de Camilla, le petit déjeuner servi dans la chambre, la chambre qui vient d’être rénovée, la literie, la vue depuis la chambre sur la basilique.
Peu d’insonorisation.

Gutes Frühstück auf gemütlicher Terrasse im Innenhof des Gebäudes. Die Lage war sehr gut, direkt befahrbar an der linken Seite der Basilika, sehr zentral und ruhig,
Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden, Die Inhaberin Camilla hatte uns direkt vor dem Eingang des schönen alten Gebäudes erwartet und uns einen Parkplatz reserviert. Wir konnten ein gemütliches Zimmer belegen mit viel Charme. Desweiteren wird das Gebäude zur Zeit ganz renoviert und wir konnten Einblick in die verschiedenen Arbeiten / Teile (Frühstückssalon, ...) bekommen;, welche die Inhaberin uns erklärt hatte; es sah sehr eindrucksvoll aus.

Camilla is absolutely delightful. The room was very comfortable ……. Good size and perfectly clean. Breakfast in the open courtyard was very good. The location is perfect for exploring the city.
Hmmm …….. After all of the good points, this isn’t easy to to say, but when you walk into a hotel, you really shouldn’t be walking into a building site. The ground floor has yet to be renovated and is full of combustible building materials, with no protection to the escape staircase.
Also, I can’t understand why the new doors to the guest rooms have not been provided with locks capable of securing the doors from the outside. This could be an issue for some guests if they are travelling with valuables.
Once these issues are resolved it will be a lovely hotel, but until that time, despite the good points about the hotel, I cannot recommend it … sorry.
