Decor not to my taste. But clean and most things in very good order
Bed side lamps totally unsuitable for reading with. Road noise could be better dealt with by adding acoustic blinds in bedroom.

I booked this last minute for a birthday trip for 2 nights. Via the Booking. Com App.
In the property policies section it says ‘dog friendly - charges may be applicable ‘
When I emailed to to say I had 2 little dogs (under 8kgs and non shedding) I was told it’s $100 per dog for the 2 nights. I have booked multiple other dog friendly properties along the coast and there have been no extra charges when I provide the size and breed of my dogs.
I quickly asked for a refund as that amount pushed the total stay to nearly $1000 which was way over my budget (this was also at the end of winter season)
After some condescending emails with the accommodation management staff and a few calls to booking .com it was agreed that on the web version you can see the amount for $100 per pet- but on the App version this is not stated.
I asked to cancel for a full refund and the apartment refused, (so booking.com also then said they couldn’t
help)
After further emails the accommodation they said they would charge $100 for both dogs- which was still a lot in my opinion but better than canceling and losing $400.
The accommodation stated that they need to charge this pet fee to sanitize after the dogs stay and for any potential damage.
As my dogs don’t lose hair, are never left unattended and would not damage anything- it did seem like a bit of a rip off.
Especially as when we got there the whole apartment floor is concrete and the furniture had seen better days.
Overall stay was ok, but I don’t think charging $100 per pet is justified - plus they charge this separately from the booking payment and they require a full identification with photos and selfies via another system -which is all a bit annoying.
The images fail to show that the balcony faces a very busy highway which is very noisy all day and into the night.
Couch was shocking and had a dip in the centre from use.
Cleaners arrived on day 1, I presume had we not have been there they would have come in- even though we were not checking out until the following day.
Booking .com disappointingly haven’t taken any responsibility for the fact that the info isn’t consistent across the App and Web versions of their site- when these types of accommodation should at least state ‘charges WILL apply for pets’ - and ideally the exact amount shown.
