Very bad experience

The location

On the day of my arrival, the host sent me all the check-in details via WhatsApp, including the full address and the lockbox code. I entered the apartment and immediately confirmed that I had arrived and that I had left the payment in the lockbox, exactly as instructed. Until that moment, the host had been replying to my messages almost instantly. A few minutes later, I sent a message asking where the air conditioning remote control was, as the outside temperature was around 40°C. The host saw my message but never replied. Shortly afterwards, I discovered that the apartment was in a very poor state of cleanliness. The following morning, I received a notification from Booking.com stating that my reservation had been cancelled, even though I had already checked in and spent the night in the apartment. I strongly believe that the reservation was deliberately cancelled after my check-in in order to prevent me from leaving a review of my experience.

Forced by owner to cancel.

Rezervare anulată de proprietar. Mai exact, am fost contactat de către gazdă pentru a anula eu rezervarea, deoarece dânsul nu a dorit să facă acest lucru de pe contul său, probabil pentru a evita penalizările platformei. Nu recomand o astfel de atitudine lipsită de profesionalism.
