The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at first as I approached , but didn't realize how close it is to the Centro Storico of Catania. Short walk to bars and restaurants. Michele, the host, was very responsive to my messages, and accommodating when we arrived later than expected to check in due to unforeseen circumstances. The property was very clean and comfortable, the beds were especially comfortable. Air conditioning made our visit during a heatwave very pleasant.
Note that the property is listed as having parking, but parking is a paid lot around the corner. Ultimately, we decided to park at the recommended lot because it was well lit and open 24 hours. Our car was full of stuff, and having had a rental car broken into in Rome once and everything stolen, I was happy to pay EUR 15 to park, and the attendant (owner?) of the lot was super nice and helpful. The garage is a short walk from the apartment.
Breakfast choices were pre-packaged baked goods that were not the healthiest options. One very minor complaint is that there was no soap or bath gel in the showers, and no shelf within the shower stalls on which to place a bar of soap or shampoo.

Εξαιρετική διαμονή! Όλα ήταν άψογα από την πρώτη μέχρι την τελευταία στιγμή. Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο, άνετο και διέθετε όλες τις παροχές που χρειαζόμασταν,σαν να ημασταν στο σπιτι μας.Δεν ελειπε τιποτα!!!Η τοποθεσία ήταν ιδανική, καθώς το κέντρο ήταν σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση και μπορούσαμε να μετακινούμαστε παντού με τα πόδια.
Ιδιαίτερη αναφορά αξίζει στον Michele, ο οποίος ήταν εξαιρετικά ευγενικός, φιλόξενος και πάντα πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει.Με εστελνε μηνυματα απο ενδιαφερον να μας ρωταει πως περναμε.
Σίγουρα θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά και το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον επισκεφθεί τη Σικελία!
