GREAT NYC location - super close to L train, quiet area, plenty of space for our family of four. So many great restaurantsand bars, fun shops. I told the family to expect the apartment to be smaller than it looked in the photos bc… well it’s NYC - but I was wrong - it felt bigger, and it had everything we needed. Host’s instructions and communication was exceptional. Definitely will stay here again if we make a similar trip!

Great location and perfect spot for a long stay in the East Village. Highly recommend and would stay at property again.

The apartment was good and clean.We did have trouble getting in so I would emphasize reading the directions closely. The lower east side is grittier than midtown where I usually stay but we felt safe in both the apartment and the neighborhood. We wanted a communal space which is why we didn’t stay at a hotel. The living space was nice for everyone to spread out, have coffee in the morning and chat, play cards, eat a meal. We used the fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, washer/dryer and dishwasher with no issues. The air con seemed to be turned off as we tried to use it…it was cool outside so we opened a couple of windows which cooled the apartment. There are also a couple of ceiling fans…a tower fan would have been nice. The bedrooms are small but they were fine. Both bathrooms are roomy with lots of storage space…we had plenty of hot water…you could actually get it very hot if you wanted. There was shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. The kitchen had almost everything we needed…we did buy some laundry detergent which we left for the next guests. Our only complaint was noise…there is street noise (late night conversations and the like) in the front bedroom. We had plumbing noise in the back bedroom. Slamming doors and loud footsteps in the hallway. I would suggest a good pair of ear plugs. We liked that there are lots of restaurants and grocery stores (Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s) in the area. The uber drivers never had an issue pickings up or dropping us off.

The space was as advertised. Convenient near public transportation. We did see some bugs and I believe the front door lock needs to be replaced. The owner cannot control the neighbors and we started our stay on Halloween but the neighbors were loud slamming front door of the building and yelling in the hall at 2 - 3 am. Also, I would suggest somehow covering the hot water pipe in the master bedroom. Hot to the touch. Other than those things, we enjoyed our stay.
