The Annex is truly an annex, it's a separate part of an existing home, with it's own entry at the back (via a small alley). It's small (I'm not sure I would want to stay there with somebody), but it has everything you need. Especially the kitchen is very small, but ok for a few days. The neighbourhood is very quiet, shops aren't too far away by car.
I missed access to and view of a garden. There are 2 chairs outside for your use, but they only offer view of your own parked car. The same view as from the windows.

To coin Eric Morecambe, it has everything there, just not necessarily where you expect them :-). Comfy larger bed and milk in the fridge, which is so handy. The air con was a godsend given the weather we have had too!
