The staffs are amazing, the place is comfortable and has a really nice view. Guys there make you feel home. Not for a moment i thought i was travelling solo in a foreign place, when I was there
The surrounding do close early, so it's a bit hard to find good food at night

- Ideally located between Dambar Chowk, Kalimpong, and peaceful nature walks, Hills Tale Backpackers Hostel has everything to offer.
- The place is quiet, cosy and feels like home, perfect for long stays.
- All 3 hosts are very friendly and take good care of the guests, know Kalimpong very well and also provide day tour strolls at a very pocket-friendly price.
- They also provide home-cooked meals for lunch and dinner if ordered in advance.
- The common area is spacious, well-designed, and the cosiest place where you can spend hours easily with good music that always soothes your ears.
- The hostel also comes with a rooftop that contains a hammock chair for the perfect sun bath, an open gym, a bonfire with ample place to sit for fun nights.
- The rooftop gives a breathtaking view of the city and the hills & if you wake up early, you can witness a beautiful sunrise
- clean and spacious dorms with all the amenities of a locker, ample charging ports, dorm bed reading lights and dorm bed storage box
- The washroom and toilets are separate units with proper cleaning and good ventilation, and all the toiletries that are present, which are difficult to find in other hostels
- The hostel with this many facilities and at this price is a steal deal.
