This is by far one of the nicest apartments, if not THE NICEST, where I've ever stayed on my travels! I thoroughly loved this place! The apartment itself is very stylish yet cosy and beautifully decorated. The location on Piazza Cittadella, right next to Puccini's Home Museum is perfect! I loved the square, it was such a wonderful location. There is a very good restaurant and several nice cafés on the square, and one evening there was even a Puccini concert for free. Next time I come to Lucca I want to stay here again!
Only thing to note is that there are lots of stairs going up to the apartment that is in topmost floor of the building. There is no elevator, as it is an old, historic building. For me the stairs were no problem, but it is a good thing to know for people with reduced mobility.

An excellent location and very handy for all of the local attractions and many excellent bistros and restaurants. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and light and airy. The stairs weren't a problem for us but some visitors might find them challenging. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.
The instructions for locating the keysafe (to allow very easy check in and check out) were vague and a more detailed description of this aspect would have been very useful.

Man glaubt man wohnt am Puccini Platz, ja der Hauseingang ist dort aber der Fensterblick ist eine kleine enge Nebenstraße, deswegen gibt es es keine Fotos mit Ausblick - clever. Dritter Stock okay aber das Treppenhaus ist mit einem Treppenlift vollgebaut (dadurch nur halb so breit) Koffer tragen ist nicht einfach. Zum Schluss sind die Treppen mehr als Steil. Die Aircondition schaltet sich ab warum auch immer - haben wir höflich nachgefragt- keine Antwort. Die „Treppe“ in den Maisonette Teil ist so steil und abgenutzt nur was für Kinder.
Die Schlüsselbox ist um die Ecke an einer Stange befestigt gegen die alle Hunde in Lucca gepinkelt haben - nicht schön der Geruch während man versucht den Code einzugeben.
Aber in Italien Plastikweingläser - die am Pool noch Sinn machen - im Schrank zu finden geht gar nicht.
Die generelle Lage der Wohnung in Lucca ist gut aber ansonsten gibt’s da noch viel Luft nach oben bei dem Preis.
