Mazar was an excellent experience for me and my family in order for us to explore Cairo and Egypt properly. We had booked two rooms for three people. From the start, the staff contacted us in order to ensure our smooth arrival. We were in contact with Gamal who provided us with all the details about the different tours they provide and helped us organize our vacation in the best possible way! We were able to visit Alexandria, Luxor in day trips each- something old done comfortably due to Mazar's organisation. The hotel was always clean and proper; our cleaner Hela was always attentive when we needed our room clean and was even able to tidy according to our needs. Also she made very cute swans :) ! The staff was always accommodating and kind and the restaurant food was excellent, in both taste, nutrition and of course hygiene. Thanks to Hossam who made us soothing teas in lieu of stomach pain, and Abo for the restaurant coordination. All in all, the bar is high, and I highly recommend Mazar for a stay in Egypt.
As the location is a bit far from the center it's hard to go out spontaneously to visit Cairo, but Mazar makes up for it with planned trips.

Everything, location for the Pyramids in Giza is brilliant (12 mins). The hotel is beautiful both inside and outside with a fantastic kerb appeal. The bedrooms are cute equipped with powerful A/C’s and good internet. It has a roof top restaurant with a view of the distant pyramids. It has a swimming pool to give some relief from the hot sun. More importantly are the staff, starting with welcoming faces at the reception, big shout to Yahia and Jamal, to the dining hall staff and the room chambermaids, all were fantastic.
Nothing really but for feedback, the breakfast food could be a bit warmer.

Friendly staff, nice hotel and food lovely. Pool was nice but needs maintenance on the tiles as they are sharp and cut my daughter’s feet. Overall pleasant stay
No shop on site. Pool needs maintenance.
