Pros: The owner and staff on site were so sweet and so helpful. Monkeys were all over the property which was so cool. The complementary breakfast was simple but very good. The location was very central, so getting to most places in quepos/manuel antonio was a 15 minute drive at maximum. They also offer a free tour guide for manuel antonio park, and a 50% discount at a local indian restaurant (i forgot the name, sorry)
Cons: The rooms were a little more run down than the photos advertised, but they weren’t that bad. The monkeys/lizards were scratching at the walls/ceiling which kinda freaked me out until we realized what it was lol. The most inconvenient part came on our last day though. The hotel lost power on our last night and was out for multiple hours. With no A/C, it was so hot that it was almost impossible to even sleep :( I understand it was because of the weather, but just be aware that this hotel does not have a backup generator!
Also, there was very minimal parking.
