Stayed here 4 nights and loved it! Very comfortable and clean. Loved being on the top floor and felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The people are so kind and hospitable - they greeted me right away and helped with my luggage when I arrived. The restaurant is right next door which is very convenient. I ate dinner there each day, as well as the included breakfast, and the food is delicious. They provide a large bottled water in your room daily. It was easy to walk everywhere that I wanted to go - not much traffic in sidemen compared to Ubud or Uluwatu. The mosquito net around the bed was really nice and made it extra cozy. Also loved the sound of the frogs at night! Like nature’s white noise. :)

The room at Tirta Unda Sidemen was very nice, and the views from both the room and the balcony were absolutely stunning. The hospitality was warm and much appreciated.
I usually don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience so that future guests don’t have the same difficulty we did. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong odor that seeped into the bedroom, and I found myself having to hold my breath every time I went in. It made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped.
I believe this could be improved by installing a venting fan in the bathroom, since keeping the windows open isn’t practical with so many insects around. I truly hope the owner can address this, because the place itself is beautiful and has great potential.
