Very spacious and very clean. There were toiletries and cleaning things including dishwasher tablets.
The mattresses were all awful. The springs were noisy when you sat on the bed and I could feel all the metal digging into me in several places when I lay down, it was the same for everyone apart from one of the single beds where the mattress was like lumpy cushions and on a slope. Even when I was a student in a rented flat the mattresses were better. This is not a great area to try to save money as a landlord as we all slept badly.
I really wouldn’t recommend this property if you want a decent sleep.

Great location for exploring the local area. Great communication from the hosts. The property is really spacious which was great for family and young children.
The property had lots of cobwebs and wasn’t clean in certain areas. The spare fridge has lots of mould in the bottom tray which wasn’t nice to see. The iron stairs were extremely wobbly and unsafe for our young children and elderly mother. It would have been nice to if known this in advance.

For our needs, the size was good, as was the location.
Whilst we appreciated that the owners only took over late last year, the property was tired and a lot of updating necessary. The windows all needed cleaning inside and out and the entrance to the property needed more upkeep; the driveway and "security" gates need cleared and made more presentable. The door to the property should just be more welcoming as opposed to covered in cobwebs and peeling paint.
Some form of outdoor seating would be nice
