Very good location less than 10min walk from the Sunnega Lift, not far from Bahnhof Str. and in a really calm area. The appartment was perfect for four adults, with two double bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Very well furnished in modern style with a really comfortable living area and extremely well equipped kitchen. Access to the ski room in the building was also very comfortable. Also a really nice terrace with views to the Matterhorn can be enjoyed in good weather.
Really appreciated the little details (taxi pick-up and return to Zermatt station included in the price and organised by the host and a welcome bottle of wine and generous fruit platter and some snacks for the slopes) that make you feel well treated from the start.
If I have to put a “but” that would maybe be the steep and narrow access path to the building from the street. Should not be an issue for most people, but for less fit individuals, those 100m down the slope in the morning with your ski gear can be challenging, and going up in the afternoon a bit tiring and certainly uncomfortable.
