The staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is huge. Rooms are basic but perfectly fine - decent beds and pillows, aircon works well, also a fan on the wall. No kitchen as such but big eating area with shade, big communal fridge for food and drink (better than having one in your room, for light sleepers like me), plus microwave, crockery and cutlery, free drinking water, hot jug for drinks and instant noodles, free instant coffee. Cheap washing machines and racks to dry your clothes. It's off the main road on the mountain side and quite quiet. You could walk to beaches, Nang Thong and Bang Niang bars etc but probably better to have a scooter or car.
Nothing so far - I decided to stay another week as it was the best value in KL for the facilities on offer.
