The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, surrounded by nature and right by the lake. We loved being able to use the boat and enjoyed some wonderful moments by the water. The cottage is very charming, cosy and well equipped, and it was a perfect base for exploring Koli National Park.
What really made our stay exceptional, however, were our hosts, Sanna and Valtteri. We had an unexpected issue during our stay and their response could not have been better. They were incredibly kind, attentive and responsive, and Valtteri went to extraordinary lengths to come to the cottage and resolve it for us. Things can occasionally go wrong anywhere; what matters is how they are handled, and their care for us was genuinely outstanding. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay.
The cottage felt a little more compact in person than we had expected from the photographs, particularly some of the sleeping areas. This did not prevent us from enjoying our stay, but it may be useful for families to check the layout and dimensions when choosing the property.

What a fabulous place to stay. The cottage is exceptionally good - a beautiful place to stay with everything we could have needed. The owner was really welcoming and clear with communication. We enjoyed using the sauna and then cooling off in the lake as it’s so close. We enjoyed rowing in the lake too. Koli is a great area for hiking with the main car park only a 15 minute drive away from the cottage. We’d love to come back for a longer stay.

Ubytovani ve skvělé lokalitě u jezera. Moc pěkné vybavení. Čisté a praktické. Sauna byl příjemný bonus. Všem známým budeme doporučovat

Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen ja se sijaitsi lähellä järven rantaa. Mökiltä oli myös lyhyt matka Kolin kansallispuistoon missä oli todella hienot maisemat.
Koira-allergikolle tuli mökissä lieviä oireita.
