We had a free and relaxed time. This place has a beautiful view and a comfortable room. The staff is also friendly. He treated us very well. The room is also very clean and tidy. I recommend this place as a good place to spend your leisure time.

Very local, authentic stay at a Sri Lankan home.
Host a lovely man - very friendly, warm & hospitable. He took us to Horton Plains at 5.30 am, waited 4 hours for us and brought us back.
If you are looking for more 5 star luxury, then suggest a far more expensive Eco Lodge. If you want the taste of a local Sri Lankan home then come to Ohiya View Resort.

We stayed here on our visit to Horton Plains. In value for money it is very good in comparison with other accommodation in Ohia, but compared to other places we stayed in Sri Lanka it does not compare quite so well. The absolute highlight was Nirmal's cooking which was absolutely superb, the best Srilankan food we had in our whole stay.
There was a leak in the bathroom roof which needs fixing and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The mosquito mesh on the vent in the bathroom also needs repair/replacement.

Obiekt Ohiya View Resort to idealne rozwiazanie do przenocowania aby wcześnie rano wyruszyć na płaskowyż Horton Plain. Lokalizacja bardzo blisko dworca PKP. Pokój schludny, posiada prywatną łazienkę. Właściciel bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny. Zorganizował nam transport Tuk tukiem na płaskowyż w atrakcyjnej cenie. Ponieważ dotarliśmy do Ohiya w późnych godzinach wieczornych zadbal o odbiór z PKP abyśmy bezpiecznie i szybko na miejsce. Polecam
