Stunning apartment, feels very grand. Beautifully clean. Gorgeous open plan lounge, diner, comfy seating. Views of the Buxton spa crescent, and palace hotel and park opposite.
The kitchen was well stocked with utensils,. Complimentary milk, tea, coffee and condiments.
The hallway has a shoe stand where you can leave muddy boots so you don't ruin the light carpets. Fabulous bathroom with a great rainfall shower. Plenty of hot water. Comfy beds and plenty of storage space in both bedrooms.
The owners met us at a prearranged time and showed us around. We parked in the car park opposite at the top of the park. Would definitely stay there again.
Nothing not to like really. Previous reviews had said about lack of toiletries, tea etc, and all these things have obviously been addressed.
The beds were both comfortable, though the 2nd bedroom doesn't have a view like the main bedroom.
There is a step in bathroom to shower and toilet, but it wasn't a problem, just quirky really. Also someone had said about the stairwell not being painted perfectly, it's got really high ceilings, the entrance and hallway are welcoming I thought.

The location was great and fantastic views and in the centre, very spacious and stylish has the wow factor when you first walk in, large rooms and high ceilings. Lovely bathroom, spacious , clean towels and complmentary toiletries. Also tea, coffee and milk was supplied.
The location is noisy as it's central Buxton, and the windows are original old ones, so bring earplugs . And drafty. Didn't like that the windows open out fully with no safety restriction with low windowsills in lounge, so definitely not safe for young kids. There's 2 flights of stairs we knew that so not a problem for us. I have to mention the ceiling in second bedroom. There's obviously been a leak, so it's peeling and doesn't look nice. Several places need a clean too, inside kitchen cupboard doors. The property is undergoing improvements and will be beautiful when completed. The owner gave us opportunity to view another apartment in the same building that was near completion. Absolutely stunning and would definitely stay in that one when next staying in Buxton, although this one was still pleasant. Table mats would be useful for the old wooden dining table.
