Unsere Gastgeberin Eleonora war extrem hilfsbereit. Bei unserer Ankunft hat sie vor der Haustür des Gebäudes gewartet und hat uns dann alles in der Wohnung erklärt. Es gab Vorräte sowohl im Kühlschrank als auch außerhalb, was wirklich hilfreich war. Es gab Kaffeekapseln und Tee. Kästen mit Mineralwasser waren ebenfalls da und Flaschen konnten günstig bezogen werden. Es gab sogar Frühhstücksgutscheine für ein Café ganz in der Nähe.
Die Wohnung ist groß. Besonders haben uns die 2 Balkone gefallen, der eine vom Wohnzimmer aus Richtung See, der andere von der Küche aus in der entgegengesetzten Richtung. Da die Wohnung sich im 5. (4.) Stock befindet, hat man eine phantastische Aussicht und kann verschiedenste Stimmungen über dem See beobachten.
Küche und Wohnung insgesamt sind sehr gut ausgestattet, ohne überladen zu sein. Und es war blitzsauber.
Die Lage ist hervorragend. Man kann zu Fuß zum Bootsanleger gehen, von wo Fähren Richtung Intra ablegen, so dass man auch schnell am Westufer ist und diese Seite des Sees erkunden kann. Laveno selbst liegt am Ostufer ungefähr in der Mitte des Sees. Von hier aus hat man die Möglichkeit, sich sowohl nach Richtung Süden, als auch nach Richtung Norden zu wenden.
Ein Parkplatz in der Nähe (ca. 200 m) wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Zum Be- und Entladen konnte man aber direkt vor der Tür halten.
Wir haben die Woche in unserer Unterkunft am Lago Maggiore sehr genossen und wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The communication prior to arrival was excellent and we were met to hand over the keys. Everything was explained well to us and we were made to feel very welcome. The location is excellent and the host gave us some great recommendations. We wish we could have stayed longer here.

Elonora verwelkomde ons zeer vriendelijk. Ze overhandigde de sleutel en liep mee voor een korte rondleiding in het appartement. Zeer ruim en keurig appartement voorzien van vele voorzieningen.
De bedden waren opgemaakt en lagen heerlijk. Voorzien van airco.
Het appartement ligt zeer centraal met uitzicht op de Lago Maggiore.
Elonora heeft er alles aan gedaan om onze vakantie fantastisch te maken! Wij hebben onwijs genoten…

The place is absolutely incredible! Lots of space, kitchen with lots of equipment for you to make meals at home. Hot shower, comfy beds, A/C for hot days and the most incredible view of the lake from the living room balcony.
There is also a balcony off the kitchen it overlooks the other side of town and is mostly houses so we didn't use it much. Eleanora and Marco are fantastic hosts! Quick responses and very helpful with recommendations for places to eat, things to see, where to get your car fixed if you show up when it's 32 degrees and your car A/C decides it no longer wants to work. Marco also taught us how to make homemade trofie al pesto which was an incredible evening.
Would highly recommend staying at Casa di Alberto and we would stay here again! It exceeded our expectations thanks to the amazing hosts!
The only complaint for our entire stay was the chairs on the balcony could be more comfortable. Everything else was absolutely perfect!
