Yet another property ‘not exactly as advertised’.

Location and quiet. Good central room and TV to all watch and evening movie.

An old Hawaiian style house has open windows with screens rather than air conditioning. It was hot some nights. On arrival, -after much confusion with the management company sending mixed-message house rules-, the owner or neighbour was standing by the road when we arrived. He had an angry dog and didn’t talk to us, only pointed to where to park. With fences all around the yard and no one to ask, to we were nervous as to where we were allowed to go outside. Not sure where he kept the dog either. Add in some very nasty bugs (despite a good attempt at bug control), it wasn’t the greatest stay.
