Location was ideal, the staff were very help full . the accommodation was very good.
The water pressure dropped so much that the showers didn't work as one would like.

I was cautious about booking a hostel for a family stay, but all doubts were quickly put to bed. This was a fantastic base from which to explore the New Forest and to relax in the evenings. The family room was basic but really functional and clean. The downstairs facilities, including kitchen and dining area, a chill-out lounge area, shared external kitchen, and bathroom facilities, were all really well maintained, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. All in all, a fantastic stay.

Everyone, staff and guests were lovely. The YHA is not just a place to stay, it is a great institution.
A few bugs in the New Forest, the owls didn't hoot for long enough, in fact they buggered off early, and my Mrs told me off for tapping my feet to a Blondie video, whilst in situ on our lovely Landpod
