Excellent apartment in a beautiful place

The apartment was beautiful. We had everything we needed for an extremely comfortable stay. The position was perfect and we loved sitting in our window watching the world go by.

The worst travel experience of my life

The apartment is well located. That's all.

This was an absolute nightmare. For three full days, the toilet was completely unusable — raw sewage came up through the pipes, flooding the apartment. I was literally wading through human waste. The host’s solution? He suggested I use a public restroom. I was forced to urinate and defecate in plastic bags, which I later showed to the owner. The owner only arrived on my last day at 11:47 a.m., finished the work by 12:40 p.m., and I was offered nothing but blame: if the problem came back, they threatened to charge me a damage fee. They admitted the issue was structural and required at least 3 full days of repairs, yet I was denied a refund and left in that condition with no alternative. They even told me I could go find another room — on May 1st, a public holiday, when nothing was available. I spent most of my time waiting, unable to leave, stressed and humiliated. This holiday, a gift for my mother, was completely ruined. I couldn’t wait to leave. Booking did nothing to help. Truly the worst travel experience I’ve ever had.
