First of all, the location of this property is great. It's up a slight incline (like most of Funchal) but nowhere near as bad as most other places, and is easily located to getting into the main town centre for touristy things, food and drink.
It's also very secure, there is a cold water fountain in the basement, and the blackout blinds are excellent.
The main issues were that on arrival, there was zero toilet paper, and we were provided with one wafer thin pillow each, which meant we had to use sofa cushions to try and get an ok nights sleep.
I managed to get some toilet roll from a basement bathroom, but trying to get extra pillows was a nightmare as it took 2 days. Instead, the cleaning team bought me extra toilet rolls. Then MORE toilet rolls, then a pillow case (after trying to deliver toilet rolls a third time). Why they don't just have extras in the room available, or provide 2 per person on the bed, I have no idea.
They also listed a toaster but there wasn't one, which changed breakfast in the flat plans.

Great apartment in a very convenient location, close to the city centre, mini markets, and coffee shops. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and communication with the staff via WhatsApp was easy and quick. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

Beautiful Apartment in a good location near the Rua Santa Maria in the Oldtown. Marta was also very helpful and quick to respond to any queries.
There was only one towel provided per person, we asked for more but were told there was only one towel change and cleaning of the apartment every 7 days. There was no toaster or kettle provided either. We had to check out at 11am but with a later flight but were advised to leave our luggage in the gym as there was no safe lock-up area.
