The cabin I was in was clearly very new so it wasn't dated or run down at all. The kitchenette had everything you would need, the bed was comfortable, the WiFi was good, the bathroom was good (big shower, not small like at a lot of places). Great value in my opinion as it wasn't much more expensive than other options and isn't far out of town, only about 3 minutes from the centre by car. Would probably be my first choice if I was staying in Tūrangi.
I assume the cleaners had forgotten on this occasion, but there were no hand towels or flannels, only the bath mat and full size towels (including in the drawers at the foot of the bed). Not a big deal but a minor inconvenience. I also found there wasn't much storage space in the bathroom and the sink was very small, making it a little annoying to wash my hands (not that there's much that can be done about this).
Because it's right by SH1 you do hear traffic but the sound itself wasn't too bad for me, however trucks going past would vibrate the entire cabin, felt like a small earthquake (it's very clearly stated in all of their advertisements that it's right by the highway so it's not a criticism about the property, more an advisory that there's vibration from trucks in addition to a bit of noise). It wasn't an issue for me but something to consider if you're a light sleeper.

The sauna was such a nice touch, especially on the colder nights after being out on the water all day. Location was great for getting straight into fly fishing.
No breakfast included, which would've been handy. Also no covered deck area for when it rained, and nowhere to hang wet fly fishing gear or boots to dry, a drying/storage spot for that would be a great addition.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete, neue Container-Einheit. Gutes Bett, funktionales Bad. Küchenzeile ok. Alles sauber und neue. Gemütliche Sauna, eine Wohltat nach der Wanderung.
Die Wohnung befindet sich unmittelbar neben einem stark befahrenen Highway mit sehr viel LKW-Verkehr, Tag und Nacht. Die Wohnung wird jedesmal erschüttert, der Lärm ist unerträglich. Wir konnten kaum schlafen. Ein Aufenthalt im Freien ist wegen des Lärms kaum möglich. Nicht empfehlenswert.
