We loved everything about our stay in this brilliant cottage on Inishturk.
From the friendly welcome and pick up and drop off by Mary, to the perfectly laid out, warm and spacious cottage, the location - on the island walking route, next to the lagoon but a little out of the main harbour area, to get that sense of escapism - and most of all the incredible panoramic views. We loved playing board games as a family, looking out at the weather rolling in and then out again. As ever, you run outside to explore when the sun peeks through, and get to exploring the island before the weather turns. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return in another season. Thank you Mary and all involved in setting up these community cottages!

The most amazing home from home in the most idyllic and peaceful places in Ireland.
Mary Helena was the most incredible host who couldn't do enough for us - thank you! She organised lifts for us off and on the ferry and offered to have groceries ready for us when we arrived.
The views from the house were so stunning... I would never grow old if it. We jumped into the clear water at the pier daily, it being an only 5 min walk from the cottages. We saw crabs and fish and the kids loved it.
There is a club/shop/restaurant at the local community centre and the food is delicious!! Fresh seafood daily and the friendliest of staff. Briege in the bar was so incredibly kind and amazing with the kids.
Big shout out to Joe who was so friendly and kind to us, and had fun with the kids, for being our island taxi!
The beds were incredibly comfortable- we all slept so well!
