The open-concept great room creates a natural place to reconnect after a day of adventure, while the expansive deck invites you to slow down and take in the beauty of Western Maine.
Adventure begins just outside your door. Spend the day skiing at Sunday River, explore the trails and bike park at Mt. Abram, or discover the shops, restaurants, and breweries that make nearby Bethel such a popular four-season destination. In the fall, the surrounding mountains transform into a vibrant display of color, while summer brings endless opportunities for hiking, paddling, golfing, and exploring the region.
Inside, the home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes to a family dinner shared around the table. Spacious living areas provide plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still staying connected.

Our stay at the Farwell Mountain Retreat was outstanding in every way. The house was modern, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the gas fireplace. The property was convenient to all activities in Bethel and Newry. The hosts were very accommodating and permitted an early check-in, which we very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!
