Great place, to stay fun, and would definitely stay there again

Enjoy the free parking. The rooms were clean and accommodating. We used the weight room, which was very nice. Did not use the pool, but others were using it and seemed to enjoy it. The outside area appeared nice and inviting. We played a few games of connected four, but were unable to use the pool table, as it was always occupied.
The only concerns, is when we checked in, the girl was very soft spoken and I had to ask her to repeat things a few times. She seemed very robotic and not really engaging.
Had a tough time finding the stairs as well. I have issues with vertigo and taking the elevator can cause dizziness, so would have liked to had the stairs visible from the front check in area. Breakfast was good. My son waited quite a long time for pancakes though, about 20 minutes and then they were a little sloppy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and all of the accommodations and amentias available. We would stay here again in the future versus downtown Des Moines. The area has a lot to offer and seems pretty quant.
