First this wasn’t clarified that it’s student housing. I think that’s an important clarification especially if a family. The host doesn’t use VRBO app and made me go to an outside site, put in ALL occupants’ info like name and email (I don’t have that for everyone!) take a photo of my ID and pay through another vendor. I thought that wasn’t authorized but clearly VRBO allows it. That should be disclosed more. I did it as it was past the cancellation period and figured I would be charged. The check in process is difficult and unclear. It was sent as an email outside the app so I had to manually share instead of my friends getting the info inside the VRBO app. It gives you a code to get a key but you need the key to get to where the lockbox is! Thankfully some nice student was there to show my friends how to get in!After accessing the place is nice and secure. Separate rooms and bathrooms are a nice feature and it’s close to downtown and a lot of activities. If you can get past the intiial reservation and accessing the unit it’s a nice place.
