Lonsdale is a comfortable three-bedroom home in Workington, accommodating up to six guests across three double bedrooms.

With welcoming interiors, practical facilities and convenient access to the town centre, the property is well suited to families, groups of friends, contractor teams, professionals and guests requiring longer stays in West Cumbria.

The first bedroom has a calm, neutral design, while the second features a warm and welcoming colour scheme. The third bedroom is located in the attic and includes characterful exposed brickwork.

Each bedroom provides storage for clothes and personal belongings. Bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for all guests.

The family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower, giving guests the option of a relaxing soak or a convenient shower.

The welcoming living room features comfortable seating, a fireplace and a TV with access to streaming services, providing a cosy place to unwind after a day exploring or working locally. Guests are welcome to sign in to their own streaming accounts during their stay.

The spacious kitchen includes a breakfast bar, providing additional space for dining, working or socialising. It is equipped for both short visits and extended stays, with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, tumble dryer, cookware, utensils and crockery.

Guests receive a small starter supply of toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll and laundry capsules.

Guests have private use of the entire house, including all three bedrooms, the bathroom, kitchen, and living and dining areas.

Please be aware that the third bedroom is located in the attic and requires the use of internal stairs.

Lonsdale is situated in a residential area of Workington, providing convenient access to the town centre, local amenities and transport links.

A convenience store is approximately three minutes away on foot, while larger supermarkets can be reached by car or local transport. Workington town centre offers a variety of cafés, pubs, restaurants, shops and other amenities, many of which are within walking distance.

Workington railway station provides services along the Cumbrian Coast Line between Barrow-in-Furness and Carlisle. The town is also served by several local and regional bus routes.

Workington is approximately 20 miles from Keswick and the north-western Lake District, and around 42 miles from Windermere and the southern Lake District. The property therefore provides a convenient base for exploring Cumbria and the Lake District.

The location is equally well suited to contractors and business travellers working near Workington Community Hospital, Sellafield and other major employers across West Cumbria.

Important pre-arrival information

Before check-in, the booking guest must complete identity verification, accept our rental agreement and provide a refundable £150 security deposit through our secure guest portal.

The deposit is processed separately as a card pre-authorisation. It may appear as a pending transaction, but the money is not normally taken from your account. It will only be charged where necessary following damage or a breach of the disclosed house rules or rental terms.

The pre-authorisation is released after checkout when no charge is required. The time taken for the pending transaction to disappear will depend on the guest’s bank.

Full check-in and access instructions will be shared approximately 24 hours before arrival once all required pre-arrival steps have been completed.
