Nice view from very small cabin

The main selling point is the view you have across the Rotorua Lake. That is very nice. And it is a short walk away from the forest road, leading to the top of the Aorangi Peak. And it was easy to park the car right by the unit.

The unit was a lot smaller than expected. There is hardly space for the double bed in the unit. Nearly unable to walk to the side of the bed (on one side) and climb in. If you have a large suitcase, there would not be any space to open the suitcase on the floor to sort out your clothes. The toilet is very "eco-friendly", but not the easiest to use, with a separate button for flushing and a lever to open the hole for your "stuff" to flush down. And the shower space was also quite small. Overall, more a tiny unit than a "cabin". We got a special price for the two nights, but I would have never paid the full prices for this size of "cabin".

Certainly the view was incredible of Lake Rotorua. The tiny house was clean and shower very good.

Great for a max of one night, as very tiny. The deck was small and outside chairs rather worse for wear. A coffee machine would have been helpful and outside umbrella. Around the cabin the area is a bit run down. Not as sustainable as I had hoped. No recycling option.

Certainly the view was incredible of Lake Rotorua. The tiny house was clean and shower very good.
