The Woodbridge Waterfront Rooms

The host was easy to communicate with, welcoming and helpful. Good on-site parking. The setting is so beautiful- overlooking the Derwent River and up to the surrounding mountains. Lovely walking tracks from the property, along the river and through the town. So much delightful wildlife to watch from our room, including a pod of dolphins!

It was my very first time booking a bnb myself in a trip. The host was super friendly and helped me a lot. The morning walk along the river was amazing. The BnB itself is a historic building, and the host has beautifully preserved many original artifacts. It really feels like staying in a living museum. As a trans woman, I felt a quiet but genuine sense of kindness. I would say the host is very gender-inclusive. The puzzle in the living room gave me a nice escape when I needed a break from my mum. lol

Considering the relatively simple facilities, the price is on the higher side. There was also a slight musty smell downstairs, but it’s a very old building, so I’m not sure how much can be done about it.

Was für eine schöne und alte Unterkunft. Sehr liebevolle Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an, wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Beautifully restored and decorated. Large comfortable room and bathroom. Handy location and warm welcome. Made to feel at home.
