Absolutely Outstanding Stay — A Perfect Place to Work, Rest, and Feel at Home
I cannot recommend Otentik Art Deco in Metz highly enough. This was so much more than a hotel stay for me — I was in Metz to write an entire book, so having a comfortable, quiet, well-equipped place to work was incredibly important. Otentik Art Deco exceeded every expectation.
The apartment was immaculate and beautifully comfortable, with a fully stocked French kitchen that had everything I could possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were fantastic — something I genuinely appreciate when traveling.
And then there was the Wi-Fi. I have traveled extensively and stayed in hotels all over the world, and I can honestly say that the Wi-Fi here outperformed virtually every hotel I have ever stayed in. I was able to write, work, upload, research, and stay connected without a single issue. I have absolutely no idea how anyone could have rated the Wi-Fi poorly. Quite frankly, I suspect they may not have connected to it properly, because the performance I experienced was exceptional!
I was also staying during an extremely busy time of year, so I was prepared for some noise. Instead, I experienced no noise problems whatsoever. Nothing. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what I needed to concentrate and get my book written. After reading some of the reviews mentioning noise, I was genuinely shocked because that was absolutely not my experience.
And I have to mention Jérôme, the owner. He was exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming. He truly went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in providing a wonderful experience.
For anyone visiting Metz — whether you’re on vacation, traveling for business, or, like me, looking for a place where you can actually focus and get serious work done — I would choose Otentik Art Deco without hesitation.

L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter le cœur de ville. Le lit est tres confortable. L'hôte est d'une grande disponibilité. L'endroit est beau et agencé avec beaucoup de goût.
L'emplacement est parfait en journée car très calme, la nuit c'est un peu plus compliqué avec le brouhaha des gens de sortie. Avec des bouchons d'oreilles, ça fait l'affaire.

Klein maar mooi ingericht.
In de straat schuin tegenover het appartement ligt een nachtclub die tot 5 uur ‘s ochtends open is. Overdag heerlijk rustig maar tegen de tijd dat je wilt slapen is er veel lawaai op straat.
