Prachtige omgebouwde boerderij, zowel binnen als buiten een smaakvolle combinatie van natuursteen met hout. De gastheer is kleinzoon van de voormalige boer en boerin. Ik voelde me er meteen thuis. Ondanks dat het restaurant op mijn aankomstdag dicht was, kon ik genieten van een heerlijk kaas/worst/brood/wijn diner, die de waard even snel voor me had klaar gemaakt. Dat is lekker landen!

The attentiveness of the staff, the exceptional quality of the renovation that has been executed to a building that is over 300 years old, peaceful space, superb quality of the bed and the relaxing and restful ambience. The daily breakfast we looked forward to, with fresh produce and delicious. Simply exceptional and will be back to stay for sure.
Not much at all to dislike, ideal for rest and recovery, peaceful and serene.

Beautifully restored family run farmhouse (circa 1750). Full of charm. Well located in quiet country surroundings approx 1/2 hr by car to Oporto center and 15 mins from airport. Onsite free parking. Mr Marques the owner and staff very attentive and make you feel at home. We were going to a wedding and they allowed us to check in early so we could change into our suits etc. Large well appointed rooms overlooking small courtyard. Water pressure in shower superb. Very comfortable beds. Abundant home made breakfast included. Could not want for more. Hope to return next time in Oporto area.
