The accommodation host, Jessica, was lovely and really helped me to settle in - she showed me how to use the appliances, assured me that I could contact her if need be, and even drove me to a local shop so that I could do my grocery shopping. The apartment had everything that I needed - there were many plugs and power outlets to charge my devices, including one next to the bed, and the fridge had salt and sugar for if I needed any, as well as some essential pantry items in the cupboards that I didn't ask for, but benefitted from. The water in the shower was hot, and the stove, kettle and microwave worked well. I also appreciated the clean towels, blankets, washing up liquid and sponge. The apartment was clean overall and it was a close location to a shop with food items, busstop and around 20 minute walk to the closest Port Louis Metro station (Cocomandrel).
The surfaces in the kitchen were sticky initially and there were ants on them, but this wasn't a problem after I wiped it down. I also had some concerns about the safety of the area as some of my taxi drivers, and other locals seemed to think it was a bit dodgy, but as a young female solo traveller, their concerns for my safety may be seen as valid anywhere else.

Moi et ma famille nous avons aimé. Un appartement très confortable, propre, fonctionnel, bien aménagé.👍👍
Le quartier tranquille, les voisins très gentils, accueillants. C’est comme si nous étions chez nous.☺️😌
À proximité d’un supermarché, l’arrêt de bus 🚌 n’est pas loin desservant les axes importants.
Les propriétaires sont très gentils, souriants, faciles à joindre et attentionnés, disponibles afin de nous permettre de passer un bon séjour.
Je ne regrette pas mon choix, nous reviendrons.

L’appartement est très bien entretenu et vous ne manquerez de rien !
A 10min en voiture du centre ville c’est top
Je recommande l’appartement mais pas tellement l’emplacement si vous découvrez l’île pour la première fois. L’appartement est parfait pour quelque jours en ville ;)
