The property was nice, clean rooms clean bathroom host was very nice. Kitchen facilities good. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly welcome and despite it being a flying visit, I was able to get value for money considering the low cost. A bed and a bathroom (to myself). Despite the incredible heat at the time, the owner did all they could to help.

Creaky floorboards in my room, not annoying to me but I was conscious of annoying others as I had an early departure.

The owner was very friendly and showed us the room and explained which was our bathroom (it was on the right outside our bedroom), the bed was comfy. It was a good price.

The parking was a bit of a problem as we had parked on the side and when we came to go out the next day someone had parked on the front of the property quite far back and we couldn’t get through the gap ad there was a brick wall that we didn’t want to hit, I tried ringing but it went to voicemail then I rang the front door bell (the owners live on the property) and no answer so I had to shout up the stairs that we needed to get out as I had an appointment and someone did come and move it. The floor in the room was very creaky both sides of the bed, I’m not sure if we were put in the wrong room as in the write up it said it had a garden view and it didn’t it looked out over the driveway in the front of the house and it was supposed to have a tv and it didn’t, it also said it had sockets by the side of the bed and they were over the other side of the room and there was no bin in the bedroom or in the bathroom. We could use the kitchen facilities but when I went to borrow a couple of forks it wasn’t very tidy and there was a pile of washing up by the sink, when I went to warm something up in the microwave it wasn’t very clean, the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and the toilet seat was cracked on the top and bottom part. We had to wait for some of our pillows because the pillows protectors weren’t quite dry and when we arrived home on the Friday night they were outside the door with the towels unfortunately there were some cat hairs on them. The bathroom was supposedly just for our room but when we came back after being out in the Friday night my partner went to use the toilet and the light was on and it was locked, I did receive a message in the early hours from the owner to say she had checked from outside and there was no one in there so the door must have locked itself.
