We had an amazing 2 week stay at Island Bliss. It is really well maintained hostel, if it can even be called that. It felt more like a hotel! The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you can think of. The room & bathroom are cleaned daily making for a very comfortable stay. Very central & free parking lot nearby. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sao Miguel!

Ideal location in the heart of the main city. We could walk to pretty much everything. Had a rental car (ask them about referral discount for Autalantis) and there is a free parking lot barely 3min walk up the street. Property is clean, quiet, and set up very well for managing your own trip - the kitchen is outfitted nicely and easy to use. Staff is spectacular, especially Tiago. Our flight home was canceled and we were able to pick up another night and stay in the same room, which made the chaos manageable. We give our highest recommendation!
